Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

What is the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)?

EFT is a form of psychological acupressure that uses a gentle tapping technique instead of needles to stimulate traditional Chinese acupuncture points.

Designed by Gary Craig, a personal performance coach in California, EFT is particularly effective in relieving anxiety, stress and physical pain, and also in overcoming fears and blockages due to traumatic events.

The tapping on the designated points on the face and body is combined with verbalizing the identified problem, followed by a general affirmation phrase.

Combining these ingredients of the EFT technique balances the energy system, allowing the body and mind to resume their natural healing abilities.

EFT is extremely fast and effective, with significant results being obtained in a matter of minutes. In addition, it is safe, easy to apply, and is non-invasive.

For these reasons, only after one EFT healing session the client can easily learn this technique and apply it to their everyday life for managing stress and anxiety, relieving physical symptoms and as a general energy hygiene technique.

What happens during an EFT session?

During an EFT session, you will be asked to focus on the issue that you would like to solve (either a physical symptom, an emotional issue or a traumatic event occurred in the past) and you will be guided through a process that involves tapping your fingertips on specific acupuncture points, while verbalizing the problem you would like to solve.

Don’t worry, you won’t have to learn and remember the tapping sequence or the verbalization, as you will be guided through it step by step.

This healing process is just a few minutes long, and it is generally used in combination with other healing modalities, depending on your specific needs.

Can I get an EFT healing session over the phone or Skype?

Absolutely. You will be guided through the healing process the exact same way as if you were in my presence, and it will work as effectively, with the advantage of being in the comfort of your own home.
